Welcome! DoozyBug is a small art glass studio that enjoys making art that makes you feel good, art that encourages you to smile, embraces color and adds whimsy to your life, garden, and house. It’s an art form that seems to encourage the spirit of giving and brings people together.

The studio spends it’s time making fused glass art and custom stained glass windows.

Fused glass is glass formed in a kiln. Glass is heated to over 1400 F and melts together making one solid piece. A piece often goes through many firings in the kiln to get to the finished product. Much of what I make in fused glass centers around my love of flowers, plants, and gardening. I enjoy making pieces that compliment outside areas and add an extra touch of color, sparkle and whimsy to my garden.

This love of glass really all started for me with the traditional art of creating stained glass. It is a labor intensive process but the end result is so substantial and satisfying. It adds personality, privacy, and beauty to any space. I create custom stained glass windows to fit the color, design, and size of each unique venue.
